Sunset Ridge 2nd Ward

As a ward, we will STRIVE to follow Jesus Christ in 2025 as follows:

Sacrament: We will focus our Sunday meetings on Jesus Christ. Our goal is to create an environment where all can feel the spirit and reflect on the Savior’s atonement during the sacrament ordinance.

Temple: Regularly attend the temple and encourage others to do the same. We will search out and perform work for our family and gather Israel on both sides of the veil. 

Reflect: Clearly explain the importance of making and keeping covenants and reflect on these principles using engaging teaching methods to enhance understanding for everyone.

Inspire: Foster a deeper sense of connection and service to each other and within our neighborhood through a focus on ministering activities. 

Value: Cultivate a space where every member feels needed and necessary to our ward family. 

Encourage: Encourage each other to follow the Savior more fully. We will invite all to receive the blessings of eternal life and a fullness of joy. 

STRIVE: (verb) To make great efforts to achieve or obtain a goal; To struggle or fight vigorously. 

Ward Temple Night – Monthly

Stake Emotional Resilience

EVENT DATE: Every Sunday

The goal is to help our missionaries learn how to be emotionally healthy and better prepared to help their companions and those they teach in the mission field become emotionally resilient. This will also help parents of missionaries learn skills to be emotionally sound while their missionary is out serving. 

Mission Prep

EVENT DATE: 2nd & 4th Sundays

There are both Stake and Ward sponsored Mission Prep classes:

STAKE:
2nd & 4th Sundays

Instructor: Brother Parker

Classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays with two sessions one at 7:45am and another at 4:00pm in the RS Room at the Ball Park/Stake Center Building.

WARD:
3rd Sunday at 10:00a @ Leuluai’s

WHO: All those turning 14 and up are invited to attend
