The Elders Quorum will hold a Pinewood Derby on September 19. The Cub Scouts will hold theirs at 7 PM, and the Elders Quorum will hold theirs at 8 PM.

Seminary Late-Start Social
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are so excited about our next Seminary Late-Start Social coming up this Friday, Sept. 13th from 9:00 to 9:40 AM.
We are inviting all students to come and bring their friends for a short devotional, a treat, and some games. We hope that we have created an environment here where students feel safe to come, have fun and learn and where they feel safe inviting their friends to experience the same.
Please help your son or daughter in whatever way you can to come and enjoy our activity. We had over 100 kids come last time and many of them were from 7th or 8th grade. Some were not of our faith. Let’s keep inviting people to Come & See in normal and natural ways. Thank you so much for all you do to support seminary!

Class Activities for Tuesday, September 10th
Laurels: Meet at the church @5:45 to attend the Copper Hills Volleyball game.
Mia Maids: Yoga night at the church @7:00. Bring a yoga mat or a towel.
Beehives: “Show your Talent” activity at the church @7:00. Come have homemade treats and ice cream! Be prepared to share a talent or skill you have! No pressure, we just want to have a fun evening.
Relief Society Lesson
Sisters, for the lesson on Sunday September 8th, please be prepared to share one of your favorite stories of Christ giving service to others.

RS: Temple Night!
The Relief Society will be having a Temple night on Sept 12.
We will be going to the Salt Lake Temple. We want to go as a Relief Society before the temple closes for 4 years! We think it will be a very special night. We plan to meet at 5:30 to carpool and go for the 7:00 session. More information to follow. Thanks!

Young Women Class Activities This Week
This week the Young Women will be meeting for class activities.
Laurels: Wednesday, 8/28. Meet at 7pm at Julie-Ann Weierman’s house for movie night. Movie snacks will be provided. We will be watching Tangled.
Mia Maids: Meet at the Oaks West Park (kiddie corner from Stake Center) Tuesday at 7pm for volleyball. Invite any non member or inactive friends for a fun friend-shipping activity.
Beehives: Meet at the church on Tuesday at 7pm. We will be doing fun activities to make some progress with our personal progress. There will be treats! So come have a good time.
Combined YM/YW Mission Prep Activity
Tuesday, August 20th. Meet at the church at 5:45 pm, with a permission slip. We will be traveling to the SLC Temple Visitor Center. We hope to see all the youth there!
Babysitting Available during Saturday Evening Devotional
August 10th: Young married couples that would like to attend the Saturday Evening Devotional – if any of you are in need of a babysitter, please contact Michelle Hansen. We will be collecting a list of Young Women who are available to babysit that evening.
