YW: Mutal Del Camp 2022

1. We need each parent to fill out a liability waiver for their girl for the river rafting trip.  The girls will not be able to go rafting unless this form is filled out.  Please have it filled out by Sunday, July 3rd and you may turn it in to Lanette Homer, Tonia Wensel, or a member of the YW’s presidency.

2. We are encouraging the girls to bring their own snacks.  We will have plenty of food and snacks at camp, but if your daughter wants to bring extra treats for the hike, rafting, etc, please have her bring them.

3. Your girls should have a green slip filled out by their secret sister. Please have your girls bring gifts for their sister to camp. We have told the girls that they should not spend more than $1-2 per gift. The gifts will be given in this order: Tuesday – treat, Wednesday – Activity, Thursday – Color. We will have the SS reveal on Friday.

4. We will be loading up the girl’s gear on Sunday, July 3rd from 6-7 at the stake center. Please have your girl’s sleeping bag, air mattress/camping pad, and a duffle bag of items needed at camp on the packing list. They are welcome to bring a backpack and pillow on Tuesday morning for the drive up to camp. ***If you have not filled out a permission slip/medical waiver, please bring them by July 3rd during the loading process. We can’t take your daughter up to camp without one.

5. We are asking that you write a parent letter to your daughter(s). These can be given to us on Sunday, July 3 when we are loading up the trailer of the girl’s gear. We will be giving these out Wednesday night. Please don’t let your daughter be without one!

6. Here is the schedule for Tuesday, July 5th. We are asking that you feed your girls a breakfast Tuesday morning before dropping them off at the church at 8:00 AM. We are hoping to leave by no later than 8:30 am Tuesday morning which should put us up to camp at 9:30 am. We will unpack the trailer and vehicles and then head to rafting at 11:45. For this reason, we are also asking that you pack your daughters a sack lunch. We will not have time to make lunch at camp before we leave for rafting. We should be back to camp by 3:30 to 4:00 and feed your daughters a good dinner.

7. For the priesthood going rafting on Tuesday, you are welcome to drive up early with our young women in your own vehicles. However, if you were planning on just meeting at the Provo river site, please plan on being there no later than 12:30. That will give us time to organize our group, find life jackets for everyone and get on the bus to take us up to the drop off location. We meet at Vivian Park up the Provo Canyon. Search “High country Adventure” in google maps to get directions.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let Lanette Homer or Tonia know. I’m happy to take care of any and all issues before camp!

Thanks so much for all you do to support your daughters!
