Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Theme

I am a beloved son of God, and He has a work for me to do. With all my heart, might, mind, and strength, I will love God, keep my covenants, and use His priesthood to serve others, beginning in my own home. As I strive to serve, exercise faith, repent, and improve each day, I will qualify to receive temple blessings and the enduring joy of the gospel. I will prepare to become a diligent missionary, loyal husband, and loving father by being a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Most activities will be every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. A text message will be sent giving more details regarding the specific activity each week. Please contact Brother Tobler if you are not receiving Deacon’s Quorum Activity texts.

Shooting .22’s

On November 13th we will be shooting .22’s just North of Grantsville. We will be leaving from the church at 8:00 am and expect to be home around 12:00 pm. Fathers are welcome to join us, however they will need to bring their own ammunition to shoot as we have a very limited amount. We are encouraging anyone who has a BB, pellet or Airsoft gun to bring that also. We will need all the youth planning on attending to fill out a permission form. Please plan on bringing hearing protection and eye protection (safety glasses or sunglasses), and warm clothes.

PACKING LIST

The Utah desert temperatures can fluctuate 30 degrees in one day, so be sure to pack light layers for daytime and others that will keep you warm in the evenings. The average temperature in June is low 67°F and high 96°F.

• Small backpack (needs to be able to hold lunch, hiking shoes and jacket)
• Sleeping bag
• Sleeping pad
• Pillow
• Headlamp 
• Wicking, quick-drying shirt (short and long sleeve)
• Wicking, quick-drying pants (shorts optional)

ACTIVITIES:	Thursday – Tibble Fork Reservoir Friday – Hike Timpanogos Cave Saturday – Repelling

Temperatures may vary significantly in one day, so be sure to pack light layers for daytime and others that will keep you warm in the evenings. We are currently expecting temperatures that may range from a low of 55°F up to a high of 86°F. A jacket will be needed for the cave as the temperature inside the cave is about 45°F.
