Seminary Late-Start Social
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are so excited about our next Seminary Late-Start Social coming up this Friday, Sept. 13th from 9:00 to 9:40 AM.
We are inviting all students to come and bring their friends for a short devotional, a treat, and some games. We hope that we have created an environment here where students feel safe to come, have fun and learn and where they feel safe inviting their friends to experience the same.
Please help your son or daughter in whatever way you can to come and enjoy our activity. We had over 100 kids come last time and many of them were from 7th or 8th grade. Some were not of our faith. Let’s keep inviting people to Come & See in normal and natural ways. Thank you so much for all you do to support seminary!

Combined YM/YW Mission Prep Activity
Tuesday, August 20th. Meet at the church at 5:45 pm, with a permission slip. We will be traveling to the SLC Temple Visitor Center. We hope to see all the youth there!

Youth Fireside: Temple President
There is a Youth fireside August 4 at 6:00 pm here in our chapel. Our Oquirrh Mt. Temple President and his Wife will be speaking to us. Parents and youth are invited to attend.

Bishop’s Youth Fireside
There will be a Bishop’s Youth Fireside on July 21st 7pm, at the Rooley’s house (6194 W 8235 S). Come get to know the bishopric better as they answer your questions. Bring a camp chair to sit on if you have one. Treats will be served! Casual dress.

Teachers and Priests
Teachers and Priests, YM tonight June 18, at the church. We will begin at 6:50.
Young Men Retreat
Teachers and Priests, reminder of the Young Men retreat being held tonight and tomorrow morning at the stake center. The agenda for the retreat is attached. We will begin this afternoon at 5pm. See you there!
Scout Fundraiser
June 29th the scouts will conduct a fundraiser to raise money to go to scout camp this summer. The scouts will be power washing the curb side black, green, and blue garbage cans. The cost is $10 a can or $25 for three cans.
We will pick up the cans from your curb on Saturday June 29 and take them to the washing station at the Winsor’s home. The scouts will power wash the cans. We will return the cans the same day.
To get your cans power washed please sign up and pay in advance so we know which cans to collect. Record your address and the numbers written on your cans so we get the cans back to the right homes. Payments will be made on church donation slips as “scout camp” so that the money goes into the troop budget. We will be collecting all the signed up cans on a sign up sheet between now and June 29. Power washing starts bright and early on Saturday June 29 so have your cans out for pickup.

Young Men Camp
- Due to weather/road conditions at camp Timberlane, the Stake is altering previously communicated plans for the upcoming YM Camp Activity. Activities previously planned for the camp will be held at the Stake Center. YM and Leaders will return to their homes Friday night and will meet up again Saturday morning at the Stake Center. YM (and their leaders) should feel free to camp in their backyards if they need overnights for their camping merit badge.
