Family History Committee Event

The Family History Committee is hosting a cultural event on:

Saturday, Sept. 16 in the Cultural Hall from 4:00-6:00 PM

The event will also include activities for kids and we will have booths for various countries around the world as well as booths with FamilySearch resources.

Please come and enjoy some time exploring family history and various cultures around the world!

National Day of Service

Bingham City Cemetery – Copperton, Utah
Saturday, Sept 9th @ 9am

Address: 7800 West Old Bingham Highway

The project goals in order of priority are:

  1. Painting the rod iron fence.
  2. Painting the rod iron gate.
  3. Dumping the garbage cans and painting the exterior of the cans.
  4. Cutting down the grass & weeds between the exterior of the wall and the apron of the road.
  5. Clearing weeds and spreading gravel around the pavilion, information sign, flag pole and veterans memorial area.
  6. General cleanup along the cemetery roadway & around designated grave sites.

Equipment needed:
Gloves, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, gas-powered string trimmers, other hand tools used for landscaping.

Bring a water bottle!

Stake Mini FSY Activity

Join us for a Stake Youth mini FSY Activity

WHEN: WEDNESDAY – August 30th at 7 pm

We are inviting all youth who attended an FSY conference this past year to submit photos they took during their experience to a shared drive.

Photos need to be shared no later than Thursday, August 24th to ensure they are added to a slideshow which will be shown the night of the activity.


Stake Conf: Aug 2023

Saturday, August 5

4:00 pm – Leadership Session – Stake and Ward Council members and their presidencies including secretaries, as well as Ward Mission Leaders, & Ward Temple and Family History leaders.

7:00 pm – Adult Session – All adults 18 and older

Sunday, August 6

10:00 am – General Session – This session will be for all members. We look forward to the chance to gather all together as a stake in the same building.

** We will not be broadcasting to the Ballpark.

Ward Movie Night

Ward Party Saturday July 29th out by the pavilion at the Stake Center. We will be watching the movie Coco.

We will be starting around 8:00 pm, with the movie starting around 8:30-9:00 depending on how soon it will get dark enough to start. The movie does have a run time of 105 minutes. Please feel free to come and go as you would like.

We will be providing popcorn, treats and snacks as well as bottles of water.

Please feel free to bring other drinks for yourselves, or other snacks you may want for yourself, or to share. You can also bring chairs and blankets to get a bit more comfortable. Bug spray may not be a bad idea either. Please feel free to bring friends and neighbors with you as well.

Old Testament Tabernacle

The objectives of the OT Tabernacle:

1. Help individuals and families place the Savior and their covenants at the center of their lives

2. Teach the importance of covenants and ordinances through connecting ancient and modern-day temples 

3. Increase focus on family history and temple worship 

4. Strengthen and deepen the conversion of the rising generation 

5. Strengthen interfaith relationships 

6. Use the experience to love, share and invite.

Stake YW Camp 2023

DATES: July 25-29th

WHERE: Heber Valley 

PACKING LIST

CLOTHES
• 4 pairs of long pants or sweats or knee length shorts
• 4-5 shirts, long or short sleeved (long enough to cover stomach area)
• 4-5 pairs of underwear
• 4-5 pairs of socks
• 1-2 sweatshirts
• 1 coat/jacket (waterproof if possible in case of rain)
• 1 pair of gloves (optional if your girl tends to be cold at night)
• Warm pajamas
• Tennis shoes, or comfortable closed toe shoes
• Hiking boots or shoes (optional-only YCLs will be going on a hike)
• Flip flops (for showering only)

GEAR
• Backpack (girl’s will bring onto bus)
• Water bottle (girl’s can bring in backpack on bus)
• Sunglasses
• Hat for sun protection
• Flashlight
• Personal first-aid kit/medication
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow (Girl’s will bring pillow onto bus)
• Air mattress or sleeping pad (no thicker than 5”)
• Camp chair

PERSONAL ITEMS
• Toiletries – deodorant, toothbrush/paste
• Hairbrush
• Towel for showering
• Wash cloth (if wanted for the shower)
• Scriptures
• Pen and pencil
• Personal journal (optional)

We will provide shampoo/conditioner, bug spray, sunscreen, tampons/pads, lotion, and bar soap on a rope for showers.

We highly discourage bringing electronic devices, including cell phones.

Please be prepared for inclement weather.
