The Stake Choir will begin weekly rehearsals for Stake Conference starting this Sunday (1/5) at 4pm, in the Stake Center Chapel.
Come join us Friday night, January 31st, 7pm, at the Oquirrh Mtn Temple for Ward Temple Night. (Meet at the Temple)
We will be doing Sealings and then we will be heading to Nielsen’s for some Frozen Custard afterward.

This last August during the United Nations event a service project in conjunction with Feeding Children Everywhere was completed. JustServe was able to help with the need for volunteers, around 4000, to help the project be successful. Many meals were assembled to help the poor.
This years Silicone Slopes Tech Summit will be held Jan. 27-Jan. 31, 2020 and a similar service project will be happening. They will need help with volunteers as well.
Many members of the community have expressed desire to help so the project is posted on the JustServe website. Here is information regarding JustServe.org and the “Fight Hunger With Silicon Slopes” project:
This week’s Deacon’s Quorum Activity will be Thursday January 30th (we will NOT be meeting on Tuesday). We will be going to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple to do baptisms. Please bring family names if you have any available. We will be meeting at the Church at 4:20 pm. Please remember your recommend.
Mission Prep will be held on January 26, 7pm at the Barber’s household.

Parents, this Tuesday we will start setting up Family Search accounts for the Deacon’s (on https://www.familysearch.org/en/ ) and show them how to search for names to take to the temple.
If you would like your son to participate in this please send them with the following:
Parent’s email account to which a permission request will be sent
A Username your son would like to use for the website
Password your son can use for the website (must be at least 8 characters long and include letters and numbers; recommend a 20 character password be used)
Email address your son will use for the website (can be a Parent’s e-mail address or your son’s email address)
The Stake will be hosting a Self-Reliance Devotional on Sunday, January 19th at 6:00pm in the Stake Center Cultural Hall.
This event is for any interested members. Please announce this event so that members may plan to attend.

We’re hosting an event for all youth ages 7-11 to learn about the new program replacing the previous Activity Days and Scouting programs. Please join us for a fun evening to meet your new leaders and get some great ideas for personal development.
Stake Youth Fireside on the Stake Calendar on Jan 12th, at 7pm in the Stake Center Chapel. Youth and Parents are invited. Sunday Dress.
Sisters, in preparation for the Relief Society Lesson on Sunday January 12th, we invite you to read the talk “Holiness and the Plan of Happiness” by President Henry B. Eyring.
We want to welcome the new youth that are joining the Young Men and Young Women organizations. Youth activities will resume this week. We will be meeting at the church Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm.

In 2020, adult and youth Sunday School classes will focus on teachings from the Book of Mormon as outlined in Come, Follow Me LINK.
The classes will be held on the first and third Sundays of each month from 2:40 PM – 3:30 PM.
The youth courses are divided up according to the youth’s age at the beginning of the year. For instance, youth who are age eleven as of January 1, 2020, should please plan to attend Course 11. All adults are encouraged to attend the Gospel Doctrine course. Classes will be held as follows:
